JG Mind Doodles is from the creative mind of James Garden.
James lives in the small Suffolk Village of Needham Market, in the heart of East Anglia, England.
James began his journey drawing digital artworks in 2017 during a particularly difficult time struggling with depression and anxiety, it was through his artworks that James could show how he was feeling on a particular day when words alone could not express the way he felt.
James began sharing his artwork online and to his delight and surprise found that other people also connected to his artwork and expression in this digital form, through these connections and conversations about mental health and his mental coping mechanisms, James found a way of keeping those sad and dark thoughts and bay and has inspired many others in the process.
In 2019 James started working on his first illustrations for a children’s book ‘Rubbish Walks’ written by Jason Alexander, the book is due for release after a hugely successful crowd funding campaign that was featured on BBC Look East.
“I now hope to take on more illustration work, I love drawing every single one of these pictures. Each one is very dear to my heart as are the people that have supported me and my work and continue to do so every day.”
